I learned a lot from my professors that shaped my teaching philosophy that I am using now. One of my professors enhanced my note-taking practice by keeping the materials of the course available on Blackboard. That allowed me to have the instructor’s notes so that I only had to take only the most important notes that I needed to supplement the material and understand the lecture. This idea was a powerful tool for the students since it gave us time to focus during the lecture and contribute with more confidence. Furthermore, I was exposed to many cultures that made me a more open-
minded person. This awareness of the diversity of domestic and international students allows me to foster and maintain my current and future students’ engagement.
I have a considerable amount of experience in teaching and mentoring students, gained from my prior roles as a lecturer, part-time faculty, and teaching assistance at three different schools, nationally and internationally. Currently, I am a part-time faculty at Stark State College, Ohio, USA. I have taught several mathematics and statistics courses on campus and via a variety of distance education modes such as streamed audio and video, and real-time video conferencing.
I have always been eager to be an educator whose able to facilitate students learning process and expose them to strong
mathematical concepts that would help them in subsequent stages of their careers. My students have always appreciated
