Methodology
My teaching method is based upon the student. I will guide students through the process of how to approach the problem and practice similar questions like that to the point where students have mastered the skills for that topic. Regardless of how minor the question may be, It is my goal to ease any discomfortness they have with a certain topic. With this methodology, I have seen a major increase in students academic performance, confidence, and end of grade tests.
Background
I am a student at Chapel Hill studying computer science and entrepreneurship. I have tutored students in math for six years. My mathematical tutoring skills vary from basic algebra to calculus and differential equations. I have tutored in English for about four years but am just as knowledgeable in that subject. I have worked at Kumon as well and am able to tutor students ranging from kindergarten to college level. I am very ambitious and driven. I want to see my students exceed in school and feel confident about their skills. Outside of tutoring, I am a dancer and enjoy shopping and cooking during my free time!
