I tailor the way I teach to an individual's learning style. Anatomy is traditionally a pretty visual subject, but different people take different approaches to help it stick. We'll work hard to pin down the way that works best for you.
I'm a medical student on a Graduate Entry course - I come from a non science background so I've had to work hard to get myself to where I needed to be, and it encouraged me to work hard to get even further than that. As for anatomy, I've always enjoyed art and since I've come to med school I've become experienced in creating original pieces of anatomical art from the school's kindly donated specimens. I enjoy anatomy and have explored many ways of both teaching and learning it.
As Tom's fellow medical student, I can wholeheartedly attest to his excellent knowledge of anatomy. He excels in explaining challenging concepts in unique and interactive ways, while always encouraging his pupils.
Word of warning though- his amazing drawing skills WILL make you jealous.
