Music Performance college student in Houston will drive to you to give young children beginning piano lessons this summer
Methodology
My main goal for the student in a private lesson is to have fun and enjoy the process of learning and getting better at the piano. I have experience in classical, jazz, and pop piano, so I encourage the student to explore different genres of music and help them develop the technique they need to musically express themselves within that genre.
Background
I am a Music Performance Major at Berklee College of Music who is also working on a Private Studio Teaching Minor. I have been playing the piano for 11 years and have also been playing the oboe for 9 years. I have given oboe lessons in the past to young middle school-aged children and would now love to pass on some piano knowledge to any child who would love to learn.
