When it comes to the education of a student on any topic, I find the best method is application. Meaning, in order to learn to write, you write. Exposure to the task at hand gives students the immediate ability to start practice. Additionally, the goal with any student is progress, not perfection. Encouraging them to motivate themselves and be proud of their work is where true growth and reward are found.
I am a recent education undergraduate with five years of experience in teaching multiple social sciences, writing, debate, researching, reading, and mentoring other projects. I recently completed my student teaching experience, where I taught grades 8 - 12 in U.S. History, World Geography, Current Events, and U.S. Government.
