I love motivating my students to communicate and learn from mistakes. I also like to conduct my teaching as much as possible in Spanish so that the students can have more contact with the language. Students can be immersed in the language from day one. I also use body language, visual images, intonation and gestures which all play an important role in communication.
Sometimes if the student wants, I can also clear up confusing points using one of the foreign languages I speak.
My experience as a teacher has allowed me to develop my creativity when planning lessons and explaining the language in a meaningful way. I like to use games for the beginner level students as it helps them to be more confident when using the language as well as allowing them to have fun while they are learning.
I also use the communicative approach so that from the first day, students can use the language they are learning. I not only teach the language, but I also like to promote cultural exchange.
I use a variety of media and materials in my teaching such as:
▸ PowerPoint presentations
▸ PDF files and text documents
▸ Images and videos
▸ Quizzes adapted to what the students have learned in the lessons
▸ Homework assignments
▸ And much more!

I can strongly recommend Carito's Spanish courses! Carito is an enthusiastic, positive, creative, and patient teacher. Studying with her is fun and interesting, and in addition to grammar, you learn how to communicate in Spanish. And what better way is there to learn a language than with a native speaker teaching it?
Carito is an amazing teacher! She is focused on teaching you as much as possible, she always has answers to our questions, and knows lots of funny stories about the language. She is very kind, creative and funny. All lessons are very interesting! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn Spanish!
Carito is such a great teacher! I started pretty much from scratch and thanks to Carito I've progress a lot over the past weeks. Her classes are always very well prepared, she teaches in many different ways which makes the classes both fun and interesting. Carito is very knowledgeable and always has an answer to my questions. She is also very passionate about what she is doing and a very likable and an inspirational person. I am looking forward to continue working with her.
Carito is a really wonderful teacher. She's attentive and detail-orientated (in a friendly way!) and has a great teaching style - she supports you to learn in a way that works for you! From the very beginning, she created a relaxed environment where I could speak but also make errors with confidence and she would work just as hard as I did to improve my mistakes. Most of all, she's just a warm, enthusiastic person and a lot of fun to chat to!
Learning Spanish with Carito was an interesting and very helpful way of discovering the beauty of this language as well as getting to know the amazing culture of Latin America. She is an amazing person, very friendly and open minded, encouraging you to want to learn more. Her teaching methods are creative and fun, which create a relaxing atmosphere . Muchas gracias por todo!
Highly recommend! Carito is very passionate about language teaching and makes a great and encouraging conversational partner! Also very good at explaining the subject matter in an understandable way.
