« I highly recommend Lana’s Chair Yoga class, which I have participated in for about 3 years now. The class is beginner-friendly; however, Lana knows her students well and gives us opportunities to challenge ourselves beyond what we thought we were capable of. Sometimes a student may have certain limitations, for which Lana always has a modification suggestion so that each of us can get the most out of our workouts. You won’t get bored in this class with a variety of stretches, poses and exercises, sometimes utilizing hand weights, resistance bands or yoga blocks. What you will get is plenty of positivity! Lana is always organized and prepared, right down to thoughtfully selected music, setting a relaxed mood, and the reading of encouraging poems or quotes to get us started or to send us on our way with inspiration. To sum it up, I always feel better and more energized following Chair Yoga than I was before. This class is refreshment for your MIND – BODY – and SPIRIT. »

Methodology

I teach 3 classes: Chair yoga class for all to enjoy, Slow Yoga flow for those who have a yoga practice and also a HIIT(high intensity but low impact, interval training) & Yoga class for those who like a challenge.

Background

I am a seasoned Yoga Teacher, reaching for over 10 years. I have my E-RYT, YACEP and also a certified CPR-AED, Senior, and Chair Yoga, Yoga professional. I offer modifications for all to enjoy and "an inspiration and positive force" to students.

OBJECTIVE: To help individuals find optional health and wellbeing through yoga instruction, fitness classes and wellness coaching. I am an E-RYT, YACEP (Experienced and Registered Yoga Teacher, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. I have my Wellness Coaching Certification and my BSBA (graduated Cum Laude 3.46) and a Dale Carnegie Graduate. I am a certified Life Coach, Reiki Master, and NETA Senior Fitness (National Exercise Trainers Association) certified. I work full-time but teach yoga as a paid hobby, as my passion to give others the gift of yoga. It is a life changing experience, for the better. I work with all ages and body types by offering 3 group classes throughout the week via zoom.
1.) Chair Yoga for all to enjoy: 30 minute class weekly for $10/class
2.) Vinyasa Slow Flow Yoga for the average to experience Yoga student: 60 minute class for $15/class
3.) HIIT & Yoga Stretch Class (high intensity but low impact interval training) and yoga stretch class: 75 minute class for $15/class
If desired, I offer a beginner's workshop for private instruction at $75/hour.

Lana is the best!! Every class is new and different. I met Lana 5 years ago and have been hooked on her classes since. Lana is such a positive and beautiful soul. You will not regret taking her class. I always feel amazing after her yoga or hiit class!

I met Lana a few years ago and I'm so glad I did. She has taught me that it is not about being able to touch your toe, but about what you learn on the way down. She has kept me going during the Pandemic with her outstanding zoom yoga and HIIT classes. I really can't say enough good things about her and I highly recommend her.
