_I love music and I love teaching music. I believe that learning any kind of subject should be something inspiring, joyful and challenging. That is my goal when teaching music.
_I prepare my lessons with 2 main concepts:
1) A holistic view of music when learning: Learning to play an instrument is very rewarding, but i discovered that if you learn how to deepen your ability to listen to music, why does it work , how to make music by yourself and concepts like these, the process feels extremely more rewarding and interesting.
2) Every student is unique: Each one has their own pace, their own talent, their own expectations and taste. A personalized lesson is extremely important, because it helps you to stay motivated and is more fulfilling if you accomplish what YOU desire!
With these two concepts i develop the lessons, providing a space where you can enjoy and be challenged, and also learn a lot!
_When I teach, I learn. Literally. I have transcribed and learned a lot of music my students asked for, and it was very fun and challenging. This helped me in shaping my knowledge in a lot of music genres. For example, if you want to learn any kind of song, i do not rely on outside sources, but I listen and transcribe it myself.
_In addition to the weekly lesson, I am ALWAYS available for any kind of audio, video, and question concerning your music practice and learning process. This has been extremely helpful because you don't have to wait to the next lesson for answering your doubts or sharing your inspiring moments.
_I provide only ONLINE LESSONS. They are very valuable, and practical. Learning music is not difficult, and with a little guidance, you will be able to discover a lot of new things in the comfort of your own home.
_The lessons for adults are usually one hour long for adults, and 45 minutes long for young people. This can vary depending on the student needs!
Hello! My name is Tomás. I was born and raised in Argentina, a beautiful and quite weird country in South America.
Since i was a child, i have lived with music around me. First, with a guitar feeling like a rockstar, and then, with a piano feeling like Alicia Keys.
Those feelings lead me where I am now. A young adult, with a Degree In Orchestral Conducting, working in a lot of musical related jobs.
With this process, i discovered the joy of learning and teaching. Another life changing moment. I am grateful for having the possibility to teach every day. I started first with young kids in their first stages of musical learning, and then I started to have adults from all ages and backgrounds! I am very fond of my students, and I appreciate the bond that is made with the process.
I believe that the best qualities to teach are Patience, Passion and Empathy. I work every day on those!!
The lessons are exclusively online!
2014-2019: Got my Bachelor Degree in Orchestral Conducting (UCA)
2010-present time: I received Classical and Jazz piano lessons
I have assisted courses in Musical production, Arranging and many others.
