My teaching method differs across the board because I understand that every student and their learning style is different. My techniques of instruction is to have have high energy and listening to where the problem lies so we can get to the root of misunderstanding. I like to tackle the trial and error method. When I realize a student is not taking in the information in a certain form, I switch the tactic to something that maybe more relatable.
I have my Bachelors in Biochemistry and Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I have been tutoring STEM (science, technology, engineer, math) algebra 1 & 2, statistics, geometry, earth science, chemistry, and anatomy (all elementary-middle school and high school math). Over the course I have taught over 200 students at the elementary, middle, high school, and college level in various subject but math is definitely my favorite! I have seen my younger kids excel through standardized tests and I've witnessed degrees that my older clients have received. My favorite part about tutoring is getting feedback from my students who were having rough time and actually get their material now. I aim to provide everyone I come in contact with confidence in their knowledge!
