The teaching philosophy that I prefer to utilize is Experiential learning. Experiential learning consists of learning through experience. I like to employ a hands-on teaching philosophy. I believe that students learn better through experience. I believe that the needs of students come first, and it is important for me to meet them where they are, and encourage them through their learning process.
I am a PhD candiate. I have a Bachelor's in science and a Master's in Science degree. I am currently finishing up my doctorate at the University of Nevada, Reno. I have experience tutoring ESL students. I speak three languages fluently. I also have experience tutoring students in English, Math, and Science.
