One of my students once told me that he learned more in our first tutoring session then he did in his entire high school career. While I don't believe this to be true I think it shines a light on what I think is my greatest assets as a tutor; I have the ability to describe the same thing from a few different perspectives, and I can find the thing concept which the student is hung up on.
I am a physics student at the University of Washington, and I've given private lessons in both pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-calculus. However, I am looking to increase my tutoring scope to include freshman physics, calculus, and trigonometry. I am looking for students who want to get an edge up in their courses and are ready to learn.
Completed two years of College courses at the Spokane Community College including:
4.0 in pre-calculus 2 (trigonometry)
4.0 in calculus 1
4.0 in calculus 2
4.0 in calculus 3
4.0 in engineering physics 1 (Mechanics)
4.0 in engineering physics 2 (Electricity and Magnetism)
I have roughly 4 months of tutoring experience between two clients.
