I am a student who has been taking piano lessons for 12 years, I can play from Bach to Ray Charles, to Disney. I have played at fundraiser like second chance at life and other concerts and have been an assistant teacher.

My teaching approach is to first learn the basics of piano (how to read the music, proper posture for you hands) then I get a feel for the student see what they like and begin giving them music that may be interesting to them as well as keep them engaged. Every time there is something new we would go over the theory behind it prior to learning to play.
