I am an eclectic educator. No "one size fits all" approach! I look at a student and ask myself, "Where is this student?" and "Where do I want this student to be?" and I proceed to make that happen. That means being creative and innovative. I want my students to succeed. I can do that by KNOWING them and their thinking processes and knowing how to deal with each as a unique individual. This also requires a sense of respect for the student and a sense of responsibility on my part for making it happen.
I am a science educator and a published science writer. My specialty is biology but I am also a certified chemistry, mathematics, and English teacher.
