I am a graduate of the University of San Diego where I studied Analytical and Instrumental chemistry. My most recent employment was at H&P Mobile Geochemistry where I worked as Senior Analytical Chemist managing EPA method 8260 and TO-15 laboratories.

I have varied experience in a laboratory and industrial environment and have been involved in numerous research projects in both academic and professional settings. I have a depth of experience in instrumental chemistry. I can maintain, repair, calibrate and operate a variety of instruments including GCMS, Entech Vapor instrumentation, and Hewlett Packard chromatographic systems. I very much enjoy working with my hands and taking responsibility for the accuracy and precision of the systems in my charge.

In my most recent position I was responsible for the operation, calibration, and general maintenance of a complete GC/MS analytical laboratory. I maintained my own laboratory from documentation through calibration and analysis to the eventual troubleshooting and repair. In addition to this I was also tasked with method development for the optimization of TO-15 vapor analysis. My chemistry background and interpersonal communication skills made me the main point of contact between the laboratory operations and executive staff.

Furthermore, I am an excellent verbal and written communicator and have a proven ability to train and lead others in complex and varied tasks. I was responsible in all of my previous employment with training others and developing the skills and standards of my colleagues.
