I utilize a combination of aural, visual, and kinesthetic movements which are part of a technique called Body Mapping. I do this in order to cater to diverse learning styles, imparting the basics of breathing, posture, healthy phonation, proper resonance, and timbre and vocal quality. I solidify my student's aural abilities with ear training, while also delving into acting techniques if it is needed for their repertoire (i.e. musical theatre), and prepare the performance of a piece from the first note, to the last one before the applause on stage! Those who are tone deaf need not fear - I've developed a special technique to help people be able to sing in tune from the ground up, and 100% of my students have learned to sing in tune.
I am a Professional Opera singer and crossover performer with a Master's in Music Degree from The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. I've performed in 11 countries, have received numberous awards, and love to teach and watch my students achieve their dreams! One of my favorite memories was teaching and performing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. When I was 16, I released an album called Sweet 16 which includes opera arias, available on Amazon.
