About Taylor

Professional pianist, musician, composer, music educator and music director with over 15 years experience teaching.

In the last 10 years I have music directed over 80 musicals with young actors.

My piano students quickly gain the skills they want to learn to play the songs they want to play, and I have so many proven methods for helping you achieve your dreams.

My composition students go on to do great things. This year I invited a composition student to cowrite a video game score with with and she now has 8 published songs in an actual video game!

I am also a professional wedding band keyboardist, former original music rock band member, and studio Ghibli enthusiast!

I love music of all kinds, and particularly like studio Ghibli music, video game scores, progressive rock, and Ravel.

I teach my students how to play their favorite songs in the very first lesson. A person knowing nothing, will know what everything is on the piano, and be able to play through a whole song after the first lesson.

I teach techniques to make sight reading easy.
I teach theory as a functional tool to help a person play and write better pieces.
I have mastered the virtual set-up, have a bird's eye camera view of my piano, and rave reviews from all the students that I work with in my private studio.
