Methodology
The teaching methodology is selected according to the students' learning goals and their needs. I mainly work within a communicative, task-based approach, which gives greater importance to interaction as a means and final objective in the learning process of a foreign language. I also focus on improving the students' oral and written production, as well as their reading and listening comprehension.The different students' learning profiles are taken into account in the lesson planning and the activities to be carried out in class.
The lessons include a great variety of teaching materials, both for traditional and online teaching (textbooks, audio files, videos, songs, short stories, games and online exercises, news articles, comics, etc.). The material can be authentic or adapted to the student's level. The good quality and variety of the teaching material make the lessons more entertaining and really effective.
Background
I am a professional teacher of English and Spanish with 25 years of experience in formal educational settings. I hold a BA in TEFL and an MA in Spanish Teaching. I have also obtained a postgradute degree in Storytelling.

Lucas helped with me with Spanish lessons twice a week for a couple months while I was living in Spain. He was absolutely fantastic. He always managed to focus on what I needed to, and made as as formal as informal as I wanted to. I was working at the time so he was very accommodating with any homework and supportive on this. Also a really lovely guy which made the classes that much more fun. I would highly recommend his services.
