I am an experienced mathematics and English teacher. My previous experiences also include private tutoring in these subject areas. Allowing a student to work at his pace is very instrumental to the level of achievement he hopes to attain. Trying to be expeditious, in order to rush off to another appointment, is counterproductive, as allowing a student to take his time to ensure understanding of the material is key to the student's success.
I have been an experienced classroom teacher for over 20 years. I have tutored both after-school and at the college level during this time frame. I have taught countless students; some of which have gone on to four year colleges or universities.
