Methodology
I base my teaching method mostly upon real life situations, trying to concentrate on understanding rather than memorizing. I place a lot of attention to word problems, since, in general, this is an area students have great difficulties. When tutoring one on one, I may adjust my teaching approach depending upon the particular student’s needs. In general, I have a very good relationship with my students while being, at the same time, reasonably demanding. Most of my students respect me more than average.

I have a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8 year teaching experience at FIU, 17 years at Miami Dade College and several years as a Mathematics private tutor. I taught hundreds of students on a range of diverse areas within Mathematics including Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and College Algebra. My teaching record is impeccable as well as the level of satisfaction attained by my students.
