About Aashi

I have been pursuing music since a young age, thanks to the likings of my mother. Sometimes when I am at my lowest, I find that music is what keeps me going. No matter how I am feeling, singing always calms me down, grounds me and I find a way out of my problems. I would feel more than blessed to share this peace that I find with singing, to the world around me as I am sure it will only benefit whoever learns. The mere thought that I have the sources to share my knowledge with the people that are looking to learn and for opening them to a world of music that gives peace to the soul is what drove me to applying as a teacher.

About the lesson

I believe that each student's capability to grasp is different based on a lot of circumstances. My teaching approach can be both exam oriented or hobby intended, depending on what the student is looking for. I make sure to delve into the topics of teaching using a personal and logical approach instead of a word to word book derived way. I analyse the vocal ranges and grasping capability of the student and further specifically curate a lesson plan which will fulfill the aims of the student ata smooth pace. Classes with me will include a blend of theory as well as practical lessons, including the learning of usage of electronic instrumental accompaniments. I will provide recordings of what is taught in the session for the student to revisit and go through whenever they would like for their benefit. I am open to taking group classes as well as solo. All range of ages are welcome to learn from me as long as one has an inclination towards singing.
