About Vanya
My passion for programming started during my PhD in Computer Science, where I explored advanced computing concepts and developed a deeper understanding of how software systems are built and optimized. I was fascinated by how simple lines of code can create powerful applications and solve complex problems. Over the past 12 years, I have worked closely with students to help them build strong programming skills through clear and structured teaching.
I believe that programming should be taught in a way that focuses on understanding rather than memorization. My teaching style emphasizes step-by-step explanation, logical thinking, and consistent practice. I use simple language and practical examples to make complex ideas easier to understand. I also take time to understand each student’s learning pace and adapt my teaching approach so they feel supported and confident throughout the learning process.
Outside of teaching, I continue to work on programming projects, explore new technologies, and stay updated with industry trends. This helps me bring real-world knowledge into my lessons. Teaching programming is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students grow from beginners into confident learners who can solve problems independently.

Programming becomes much easier when students understand how logic works step by step instead of trying to memorize code without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on building strong logical thinking and clear understanding through simple and structured explanations. We begin with basic topics such as variables, conditions, loops, and simple programs. I use clear examples and step-by-step guidance so students can understand how each part of the code works. This helps them feel more confident and comfortable as they begin their learning journey.
As students develop their skills, I introduce more advanced topics such as functions, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithm thinking. I guide them carefully so they understand how to write, test, and improve their code. Each lesson includes practical exercises, coding tasks, and debugging sessions that help students learn from their mistakes. I also focus on helping students think independently so they can solve problems without depending on memorization.
Programming lessons also help students develop patience, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills. They learn how to break complex problems into smaller steps and find solutions in a clear way. Over time, students gain confidence and begin to enjoy creating their own programs. My goal is to help learners feel capable, confident, and interested in programming.
