About Lumi
I am a dedicated Computer Programming tutor with 6 years of teaching experience. I teach programming to High School and College students and have successfully guided around 150 students in building strong coding skills. My goal is to make programming easy to understand and enjoyable to learn.
I mainly teach core programming concepts along with languages such as Java, C, and SQL. I help students understand important topics like problem solving, object-oriented programming, basic data structures, and logical thinking. My lessons focus on step by step explanations so students can clearly understand how code works.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and practical learning. I believe students learn programming best when they practice writing code and solving real problems. During my sessions, I encourage students to think logically, ask questions, and develop confidence in their coding abilities.
Over the years, many of my students have improved their academic performance and completed challenging assignments and projects successfully. I also support students with exam preparation and help them build skills that are useful for future careers in technology.
I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning and improving. My goal is to help every student develop strong programming foundations and become confident problem solvers in the world of technology.

My teaching approach in computer programming focuses on building strong fundamentals and practical coding skills. I teach programming in a simple and structured way so students can understand concepts clearly and apply them confidently. My lessons mainly focus on Java programming, but I also guide students in related areas such as object oriented programming, data structures basics, algorithms, debugging techniques, and basic software development practices.
I believe programming is best learned by doing. In my sessions, students write code, solve real problems, and practice step by step. I explain concepts like variables, loops, conditionals, methods, classes, and object oriented principles using clear examples. I also introduce topics like exception handling, file handling, and basic database interaction with SQL so students gain practical knowledge.
My tutoring style is based on empathy, problem solving, and motivation. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so I adapt my teaching style to their needs. I encourage students to think logically, analyze problems, and develop their own coding solutions.
