About Victoria

I work exclusively via video for students under 18, and prefer it (to avoid wasted commuting time) for adults as well. The exact content and methodology depends on what you need to learn. I have been tutoring youth and teaching adults, college and post-college, for over 25 years and have a huge toolbox of techniques that work. I am looking forward to deploying that expertise for YOU.

MA Psych, a dozen specialty certificates in therapy and counseling AND the author of five recent books and regular newspaper/magazine articles. If it's fill-ins or multiple-choice, you need facts + understanding of key principles. But - your biggest challenge is writing papers, right? You don't need a psych prof and a writing tutor. Get someone who can get you all the way! In one of my Master's level classes, I earned a grade of 100%; I know my stuff. And I wrote my Capstone in half the usual time, for an A+ grade. I can teach you how to do that, too. My methods assume that you want to work, and work hard. If you do, I will make sure that you are applying the effort in exactly the right ways, to learn the right stuff, to focus the right new skills to get the maximum results.

Actual costs depend on the subject matter. A short Q & A session is usually half-price. The rate quoted refers to actually teaching you the subject, because your prof couldn't make sense of it for you, and/or teaching you how to write really, really well.
