I approach my lessons with different methods, based on the person I have before me and their specific needs. Some students might need more confidence in their abilities, so I would focus on practicing rules. Some other might need to focus more on the grammar and vocabulary, therefore for these students I would prepare more theoretical and frontal lessons. Independent work is also vert important, this is why I usually give homework to complete for the next lesson.
I have taught Italian as a volunteer teacher for more than two years to people with all ranges of ability. I can teach to groups or 1:1, depending on the experience of the students. I am also a tutor for skuola.net, an Italian tutoring website for a variety of subjects, such as Italian, Latin, English, Maths etc.
