Methodology
I teach students how to successfully walk through each step of their essay writing process. Beginning with getting those first words on the page, and ending with the thorough process of proof reading, I provide my students with tips and methods that make those daunting steps of essay writing more manageable.
Background
I have BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a dual major in English and Philosophy, and I am a semester away from receiving my MA in Philosophy from Colorado State University. I have extensive experience in teaching as I worked as a high school teacher, a supplemental instructor during my undergraduate years, and I am currently employed as a graduate teaching assistant.
I also have written a creative non-fiction novel that was published and has sold over 10,000 copies.

I currently work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the philosophy department at Colorado State University. My roles include grading essays and providing feedback to the students, holding office hours to answer student questions, and occasionally giving lectures.

I authored a creative non-fiction novel about the life of my father, a Kansas City minister. The novel was published by Whitaker House Publishing. During this process I had to produce a great deal of content which required me to refine my abilities as a writer and as a motivated self-starter.
