I have given lessons didactic and clinical at a college level for diploma programs and AS programs for future Dental Assistants and Hygienist. I use visuals, examples, life experience and non-traditional methods to help the student understand concepts and methods in which to use in real life situations.
I have been teaching for 3 years at the college level. I have taught up to 88 students in didactic classes and up to 20 in clinical. 80% of my students found jobs in specialty offices and work at different levels of the dental community. Some work in clinical settings and some work in clerical. This is the diversity of work that can be achieved.
