My approach to teaching a student is always by example. I formulate a writing sample, complete with notes and alternative phrases. I begin the next session with a recap of the class prior, as well as a question and answer period. I take the time to get to know my students, so I may tailor my lessons to make them interesting to that particular student.

Joann is one of the nicest people I know. So down to earth, honest and patient. She has always given me great advice when I needed it, and I will always respect her and am lucky to call her my friend. She also has a great sense of humor! She would make anybody feel comfortable in her presence.
