My lessons are built upon a hands-on foundation. I will create environments that will stimulate creativity while walking through technical skills and practices one step at a time with my students. Whether you have never been able to color in the lines or spend all your free time doodling, I will help students refine their skills and grow into their own personal voice as an artist.
I am an artist who is passionate about igniting the artistic talent that is in each person. I have a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in printmaking and studied photography, drawing, and fashion design for four months in Italy. I have advanced experience in studio practices such as printmaking, drawing, painting (both oil and acrylic), sculpture, metalworking, ceramics, and graphic design.
My rate is $18/hr for a group class and $20/hr for a personal lesson. If students are siblings and taking lessons at the same time, there is a discount for $14/student/hr (*ONLY APPLICABLE TO GROUP CLASSES*).
I ask that cancelations are made NO LATER than 24hrs prior to the lesson. Refunds will not be available past that time.

I have known Sophie-Earle for a year and can attest that she is a brilliantly talented artist. Her passion for art and her desire to share it with others would make her an incredible teacher. She is kind, patient, and encouraging-- you won't regret hiring her!
We were a part of the Winston Salem Fellows Initiative together. Sophie-Earle received her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and has an extensive knowledge of styles and designs. She has also assisted with YoungLife Capernaum, which is a ministry that focuses on individuals with special needs. With the extensive knowledge of art and the wonderful interpersonal skills, I believe Sophie-Earle would be an excellent teacher and mentor!
