Seeing as I have never taught, I do not have a set methodology. My mother is a teacher, and I have learned lots of techniques from her. I think the method definitely depends on the concept you are trying to learn, and can vary from repetition, audio/visual reminders, or multiple explanations.
I just graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry, as well as a B.A. in Slavic Language. I have never tutored, but I have endless patience and I love helping other gain a better understanding. While I was in school, I constantly helped classmates to understand the material in a way that made sense to everyone.
