Methodology

This is up to you! Whether you want to work on improving a single piece of difficult writing or work to develop your skills and abilities as an effective communicator, I am here to support!

In either scenario, I will ask you to submit a sample of your writing (whether you consider it your best, worst, or something between) before our (free) 45-minute introductory session. We will spend that time only seemingly tearing your hard work to shreds, but in practice, I hope to provide some exposure to constructive criticism as a means of self-evaluating, and ultimately independently improving, your eye for good writing traits.

This learning space will consist of both sharing tips-and-tricks of effective and appreciably garnished writing as well as organized "peer-review" sessions of student's selected personal writing examples. If We will cover and review the basics of sentence structure and verbiage and apply those concepts to architect an elaborate presentation of ideas.

Peer-review requires humility and openness to criticism, but it in no fashion leaves room for harshness or personal judgements. No matter how perfect writing may seem, it is always vulnerable to improvements. It is only by seeing how others fail to present their ideas efficiently that we become conscious of how we ourselves express our own thoughts! Of course, we will highlight favorable traits and motions recognized in your writing.
