About Edye

I am a psychiatric nurse with adolescence inpatient hospital experience as well as home health experience. I have held many groups on depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, suicidal thinking, and many other, emotional problems that come along with todays worries. I have a good background of psychotropic medications.

My teaching approach is one to one therapy. Group therapy. Reading material. Encouraging compliance with medication and outside therapy when necessary. Anger management. And of course, self-esteem exercises. I love to laugh and I believe it is important to let students be in a relaxed environment. Students should be able to ask questions and approach the instructor with any concerns that they might have.
