I am a retired chemical & nuclear engineer and university chemistry professor with many years of experience teaching and tutoring various levels of science and mathematics subjects. I desire to assist motivated students in achieving their goals. I am an enthusiastic educator dedicated to making a difference in student's lives by creating an atmosphere conducive to active learning and exploration. I have the ability to explain complex concepts in a relatable manner. I often utilize worked examples to teach fundamental principles. I have good interpersonal and communication skills and endeavor to encourage active student participation by providing positive feedback that enhances the learning process.
