I was (am) a disciplinarian. I take no nonsense from students and expect them to be self-disciplined and ON TASK. I dislike memorization except in rare cases where applicable. I take a "WHY" approach, to methods used in mathematics. I enjoy relating history to concepts in both mathematics and physics where applicable.
I have no experience with on-line education. Being 85 years old, translates to many decades being involved with both secondary and college level classroom teaching.
I own a BA from the Univ of Vermont in mathematics with a minor in physics.
I own an MA from the Univ of Kansas in mathematics
I have a PhD from the Univ of Alabama in Secondary Administration which I have not used to this date.
