A retired teacher in Liberal Studies gives math/English Language Arts lessons to elemenary and middle school levels in the city of Rosemead & nearby cities.
Methodology
I'm a retired teacher enjoying giving lessons to second to sixth grade students with direct instruction in Reading Pyramid Model/Write Time and Scott Foresman California Math. I teach lessons to California standards using the school curriculum to meet the student's needs as well as advancement.
Background
My lessons are usually given in 50-60 minutes each in a small group of 6 students or less, or on one-to-one basis at the student's home and in the public library after school hours. In the past experience, I helped my students meet the state standards and advance to the next grade level.

With my Master degree in Teaching English Language to Speakers of Other Languages and the Reading/Math Institutes and Conferences I attended before my retirement, I received an award plaque from the district. I had 29 years of experience working with elementary school students and 12 years working with adult immigrants in teaching English Language Arts, Math, and English as a Second Language.
