Retired University Professor offering MCAT/GRE Preparation in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry, San Diego, CA

Methodology

Tutor is a recently retired university Professor of Chemistry with 37 years teaching and research experience. During the past 19 years I have been a content contributor on behalf of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the agency that produces and administers MCAT. I offer individual and group ONLINE tutoring in college-level General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and MCAT Preparation in these disciplines.

Tutorial assistance is provided online via Skype or Google Hangouts with screen-sharing. The screen-sharing feature permits chemical formulas, structures, equations, and reaction mechanisms to be drawn on-screen in real time during live tutorial sessions. Visual materials produced in this manner are saved as jpg files and are sent to students at the conclusion of each tutorial session.

Online Availability: 7 days/week, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Pacific time (CA).

Background

Tutor is author or coauthor of 328 original Chemistry and Spectroscopy research publications that have appeared in international, peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, tutor is author or coauthor of six technical monographs in chemistry and spectroscopy. During the past 19 years tutor has contributed MCAT units (technical passage + associated questions) in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry on behalf of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the agency that produces and administers MCAT.
