About the lesson
My teaching/coaching experience is based on mutual respect for our roles as teacher and student. I emphasize setting goals that are reachable and critical to the student's skill set. I emphasize a relaxed and fun atmosphere for learning. I've found that motivating through this approach works well both ways. Open to concerns and questions always.

Retiree with 35 years experience in the Parks and Recreation field. Within those years I was a ten year member of Toastmasters Int. winning speaking contests and mentoring new members interested in improving their communication skills. Have completed American Writers and Artists Institute copywriting course and published three children's stories. I also coached high school baseball for 11 years. Significant experience tutoring readers at primary level and high school.
