Methodology
My teaching method is to use reading passages followed by reading comprehension questions, I also use crossword puzzles that I create to help reinforce the Vocabulary in various subject topics. I also use wizard test maker in five subject areas to prepare students with a variety of topic-focused concepts for assessments in math and science. The Let's Review Barron's series is another of my resources for test preparation in many subjects.
Background
My background is tutoring students for 40 years in many different subjects. I have taught advanced placement Biology & Anatomy/Physiology. I have taught Biology and Chemistry at Stuyvesant High School .
I have done private tutoring at all Levels.

I began my career as a student at Stuyvesant high school of Mathematics and Science.
Then I was appointed to teach Chemistry and Biology at Stuyvesant High school in 1981.
The New York City department of education then appointed me as a Biology for thirty
years at schools in Queens, New York.
I am currently teaching at Martin Van Buren High school .
In the Fifteen years at Van Buren, I have taught mostly science and some geometry.
I have a Bachelors in Biology from SUNY at Stony Brook.
I have a Maters in Secondary Science Education.
