I base my teaching on a flipped classroom approach. I like to take what my students know, and expand on that knowledge. I like to teach my students- then have them teach the information back to me. If a student can teach me the information; I believe they have successfully learned the material. I also like to put my lessons in terms to make the child understand. If the student loves sports- I can put the subject area in terms of a sport in which they are interested. I can do this with almost anything.
I am a 2nd year student at Maryville University! I am obtaining a dual degree in Biomedical Science, and Psychology. I went to a performance art school in Dallas, where I found my passion for both music and science. In psychology I focus on childhood development and its effect on education.
