My lessons is flexible to teach chemistry (up to high school level), physics (motions and electromagnetism), and math (all of single variable calculus). A brief overview of the topic which the students are learning will be covered in the beginning and questions will be answered during this time as well. After a brief lecture, the students will be given practice problems to expose them to variety of difficulty problems. As the students struggle through the practice problems, they will figure out where their weaknesses and questions will be answered. After working on problems, a summary of the topic will be given and a review of how the material is connected with other topics will be explained.
I am a second year student majoring in chemistry (changing to chemical engineering) at UC Irvine. I have not given formal lessons in the past, but I have tutored many other students my age during my high school years and my first year in college. I can say I have taught more than 10 students in the science field and the results of their grades were very much improved. My practical experience in the subjects included general and analytical laboratories to study the materials learned from the topics.
