My method of teaching usually involves breaking down complex programming problems into there fundamental ideas, and working from there. I find that a lot of people struggle with programming because they may be missing a few fundamental ideas, even if they understand mostly everything. I am very patient because I understand that programming isn't something you get right away.
I am a computer programmer who's been teaching others for the good part of 2 years. With just over 4 years of programming experience I've been able to teach both the simple and complex ideas in programming. Many of the students I have instructed have went on to become proficient in programming themselves and becoming able to help others too.
I'm a high school graduate and a freshman in college with:
6 months of work experience as a computer lab tutor. I worked at Broward College’s North Campus.
I was a teacher’s assistant at my high school where I helped with the AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A classes.
I have self-taught programming experience in Java and have created an Android app for my school. It was created in Android studio and programmed in Java. I also have some experience in C++ and Python.
I was the vice president of my high schools Science National Honors Society and President of the drones and robotics clubs.
