Silver Lake Ohio Tutor interested in helping a young student prepare for the new school year.

Methodology

My name is Sue Bowers. I am a substitute teacher in seven primary school districts and have been teaching in the field for 14 years. I graduated in 1998 with a degree in Elementary Education 1-8 from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. I feel Language Arts is my strong subject and would like to try and impart that knowledge on a student.

Background

The amount of students I have been teaching are to many to mention since I have a substitute for fourteen years. As far as success rate is concerned, it is hard to gauge that because I sometimes see a student whose eyes light up when a concept is understood and sometimes I see struggles on a child's face and I take the time to try and help him or her understand.
