I am certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a Medical Laboratory Technician. I got my Medical Lab degree in 2017, and worked in laboratories until recently. I now am an Application Analyst that support lab software. I have experience tutoring in a science walk-in tutoring center, have been an open lab instructor, and have tutored one-on-one.

I met Rachel when I wanted a tutor for A&P through the school. Previously, I dropped the course and had to retake it. I had a different tutor and was skeptical about getting another as I didn't find them too helpful. With Rachel, the A&P course I dropped the previous semester, with the same professor, I aced. I then had Rachel for A&P ll before she took a break from tutoring, which went smoothly as well. I signed up for another tutor for Microbiology course and it wasn't the same. The difference with Rachel was she isn't there for a paycheck, she wants to see you succeed and will fit you into her schedule whenever to ensure that. She's extremely knowledgeable and will find various options to help you comprehend the material; from pop quizzes to having you teach her the information, you’ll stay on track and never fall behind on the material. Although Rachel didn't tutor me in Biology, rather Statistics, she did an excellent job of staying patient with me when I just could NOT understand a concept! She tries different ways to approach the topic to help you understand what you are studying. Highly recommend!
