About Philip
I'm a recent Cognitive Science graduate with a strong background in statistics and research methods. I’ve completed multiple courses in these areas and applied what I learned through hands-on research, both as a volunteer in a university lab and while completing my honours thesis. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I understand where students are coming from and why these concepts can be challenging. While studying, I often organized group sessions and worked through material with classmates. I especially enjoyed helping students who found stats and research methods confusing or just plain boring—to gain clarity and confidence. I'm excited to help others in the same way. My tutoring approach is slow-paced, relaxed, and interactive. I’ll make sure you understand each concept before moving on, no rush, no pressure.
I am all about accessibility. No one should have to pay top dollar if their struggling. That is why I will be offering the first two sessions for free. And only 20/hr, after that!
