About Coleman
I have 5 years of science tutoring experience, where I tutored my peers and local high school students while I was a student at Stanford.
In addition to my love for the natural sciences, I am also an avid language-learner, as I have learned to speak 8 languages over the course of my life. As such, please ask about my tutoring services in Spanish, Mandarin, French, Turkish, and Latin if you're interested in acing your next AP, SAT Subject test, or final exam!
While I am open to all students, I am particularly seeking longer-term clients whom I could assist into the school year in a variety of STEM and language subjects. Either way, feel free to reach out, as I am always happy and able to help students achieve their short-term goals!

I will adapt my teaching method according to your academic needs and goals. That said, I generally start the lesson catching up and getting a sense of what you're covering in your science classes as well as the parts of the content you don't understand. Then, we'll go on to do a thorough review of the week's material, stopping for any questions you have. We'll finally end the session with a summary review of the material, and by making a study plan for you to follow until our next meeting.
I developed innumerable study skills during my time at Stanford that helped me ace all my Biology, Chemistry, and Physics courses, and I want to impart those tips and tricks on you to maximize your performance. I am able to tailor the study skills that I recommend to your unique learning style, and a large portion of our lessons can focus on this academic consulting service if you like. My main priority is that you improve your confidence and performance in your science classes!
I teach all levels of Biology from middle school through college.
I teach all levels of Math from middle school through BC Calculus.
And I teach General and Organic Chemistry, and Algebra-based Physics.
(College and High School Pre-meds welcome!)
