Supported below proficient eighth grade students in preparing them for algebra in ninth grade. Created and implemented hands on lessons that urged students to use manipulatives and discover the answer by process rather than memorization. Arrived at schools in the Corona-Norco area, grades K-12 and filled in for teachers who cannot come to work. Assumed all educational duties of a teacher, time management, teaching lesson plans, discipline, interacting with staff professionally, and safety of all students. Required flexibility as substitutes are on an as-needed basis and receives calls on short notice. Was often requested and trusted by teachers to substitute, both short and long term. Taught in a variety of classrooms, including special education.
