Each and every individual is different, hence, my teaching approach is not similar. Depending on the student, I would like to see what types of criteria they struggle with the most and then continue from there. Generally, I would ask what the student's method of studying are and incorporate my methods as best as I can. However, if they are unsure, I like to go for a repetitive approach until the student is most comfortable understanding.
I am currently a senior-level student at California State University of Long Beach studying to become a Mechanical Engineer. I have tutored and/or helped students of my age, higher-level college students, and K-12 level students. Different types of math courses I have taken throughout high school and college include: Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, and Linear Algebra. There are also variations in physics within my engineering courses as well, therefore, I do have knowledge in those areas.
