About Paula

I have lived in Panama for 8 years, in which I graduated from my high school in an international American school, where I could only speak in English for 4 years, and in which I learned and extended my vocabulary and knowledge of the language, after graduation I won a job as a teacher of English at all levels and ages in that same school, where all the instructions and classes were in English and only English. I got more experience for which people contacted me to give private classes, I started doing private tutor of English for Spanish speakers and Spanish for English speakers. I have spoken 60 percent of my day in English for 6 years. And I keep trying to maintain my level even though I live in a country where Spanish is spoken in general. I am currently working as an English teacher at the Benito Perez Galdós school a few hours a day as an extracurricular teacher. And I feel that this is a good way to stay more active in the language and be able to help others to learn this language.

About the lesson

My teaching method is liberal but structured with time, material and vocabulary previously planned, I always try to reach my expectation in the class of what vocabulary we have reached that day or what goals we have reached in the established time. It is based on a fairly conversational and continuous review of vocabulary within game and conversation strategies so that the lesson becomes enjoyable for the individual and can also absorb knowledge at the same time.

Me hablaron de paula unos familiares muy cercanos en una conversación que teníamos sobre los niños y lo importante que es el ingles en su educación. Me puse en contacto con ella y nos reunimos para explicarle la situación familiar, edad de mis hijos..etc vamos, lo necesario. Desde el primer momento fue tan cercana como profesional y siempre poniendo en primer lugar a los niños y la importancia de una integración agradable de un nuevo idioma en su día a día. Mis hijos están encantados con ella y han notado una facilidad notable a la hora de realizar sus clases de ingles dentro del entorno escolar al igual que al realizar sus tareas.
