I create courses that deal with the practical goals my students have for learning. Through a multimedia blended lecture, and mostly experiential hands-on learning environment I like to create classroom environments where students can immerse their senses in each lesson so that they can have a truly memorable and transformative experience.
In every course I teach, whether it is communications or performance based, there is always a section dedicated to mindfulness practices. Meditation, stillness, and knowing one's self are indellible keys to improving one's relationship with self. In the world of performance, you are your instrument, it is of the utmost importance that you dive deep into your relationship with yourself and that you possess tools for relaxation, realization, and balancing mental health/wellbeing.
In each class, students will be made aware of the over-reaching course goal, and in-class goal. Goal setting is another very important key in turning one's dreams into to-do lists.
Students will learn a variety of acting, vocal, and presence (postural) techniques as appropriate to their exploration of character development. Students will complete the course with two polished audition pieces to use to unlock the opportunities that they so crave!
I was introduced to the entertainment industry at 18 months old and spent my early years on the commercial modeling side of the performing arts. In my teen years I switched over to theatre and fell in love! I was told by my professors that if I couldn't get into a show within 6 months of living in NYC, then I should quit. That was the recipe back then. My ratio of being cast is one acceptance per every 3 auditions which is rare, and has nothing to do with luck! I discovered a formula that works to get actors hired. In this class you will learn how to choose audition pieces that showcase your talents and skills, how to prepare for an audition (body, mind, & emotion), and how to give your best within the audition.
The pricing listed is for one-on-one students. When I teach groups I prefer to teach no less than four and no more than six students. This way our class remains intimate and you are still getting the personal attention you need. Group classes can be purchased as a course and last 8-weeks for $275 per student. If payment plans need to be made available then it can be discussed. Contact me with your questions and needs.

I only worked with Angelique for about a month, but my experience with her was life changing. It’s hard to explain how much her teachings influenced me, but trust me when I say you will learn so much and grow as a person working with her. She’s incredibly wise and understanding, and she was absolutely one of the best teachers I’ve ever had or ever will have. I can’t recommend her enough.
Angelique is so understanding and caring. From my experience with her, she has always given her best effort to help me with what I need. I felt like I could talk to her about anything from the day I met her-about a year ago. And if an acting technique isn’t clicking with a student, she’ll suggest something else. She is a wonderful woman with positive, calming energy.
Angelique keeps it real. She tells you what you need to hear and that’s where true growth lives. She completely opened my perspective with her ability to really see you. I’ve worked with her a few times. Each time I feel more aligned with the path I was meant to be on. Her soul healing abilities shook me in the best way possible. I’m so grateful for the things she allowed me to grow from by pinpointing where the healing was needed. She is incredibly gifted and I’m forever grateful.
