I build on students' strengths which increases their competence and their competence. Together we set goals for the sessions. I am a warm, supportive and creative educator who consistently helps students reach their goals. I am an excellent problem solver who always gives 150% to my students. I love to teach and it shows1


I am an award-winning educators who has been teaching hundreds of K-12 and college age students, including graduate students for 30 years. These include struggling learners, ESL students, and students applying for universities. My specialties include Reading ( all levels), English ( all levels), and college success. I love to teach and to help students become successful! I have a bachelor's degree in Special education with a literacy focus, a master's degree in Learning Disabilities with a Reading Specialist certificate, a school administrator's certification, and a Ph.D. in Adult Education and Learning.
