My name is Tru, and I am committed to creating a learning environment where students feel challenged, supported, and capable of achieving goals. Sharing my background helps students and colleagues see my dedication and relatability, fostering trust and connection. A little about me - I have a high school diploma - I am currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in business administration and sports management - I am also a college athlete, and I play Division 2 soccer at Bluefield State University - I was part of the National Honor Society in high school - I was in a dual-enrollment program through Blue Ridge Community College - I have taken college-level English courses and earned excellent grades - I have experience in writing college-level essays

I explain things in small, manageable steps and check that you understand before moving on. I use examples, visuals, and real-life comparisons. If something is hard, I'll try a different approach to see if it clicks. I will adapt to your learning styles. I will also never judge, and you can ask me anything. I will go at whatever speed is comfortable with the student. My lessons are suitable for students of all ages, including elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults seeking new skills.
